Care & Cleaning

• After use, wash gently with lukewarm water and mild dish soap. Avoid harsh cleaning agents.

• Do not place in very hot water or the dishwasher, as this may affect durability.

• Boxwood naturally tends to return to its original form and may warp slightly. If a handle bends, wrap it in a damp cloth and leave it for 6–10 hours.

• No varnish or similar protective coating is used. With regular use, re-oil approximately every 3 months when the color changes from yellow toward white (olive oil is recommended).

Note: As each slotted spoon is made from natural material, slight variations in color tones and grain patterns may occur.

Attention: In recent years, factory-made, varnished wooden spoons and combs—especially imported from the Far East—have become common and inexpensive, but they are not healthy. Boxwood spoons offer a natural and healthy alternative.
